Once you have created a storyboard for your project, you are ready to start capturing your video clips!

To open up the camera:

  1. Select the scene you want to capture

  2. Follow the instructions to attach your phone to the Osmo (more support here)

Once the camera is open, you will see the current scene and suggested shot type on the bottom left. On the top you will see instructions on where to position your body to get the best angle possible for that specific shot.

If you forget how to capture the suggested shot, you can tap on the question mark and a reminder will pop up.

Once you are ready to record, tap the red record button on the right side. A three second countdown will begin and you will start recording.

Note: We generally limit the recordings to 6 seconds. This will help you capture with intention. Focus on executing only the one move we suggested in that amount of time.

You will then be shown a replay of the video you just captured. If you are happy with it, hit the "Continue" button. We will add it to your project and upload it to the cloud immediately.
